My 17-years old me won't believe this, not even present-day me, but twenty-four hours day would seem rather short when you have a lot to do.*
Working 60-hours a week gave me a new sense of time, where it is precious and you are considering what are you going to do with that little spare time you have. Studying? Self-improving? Quality time?
Procrastinating. Yes, even in my limited time I chose to *procrastinate*.
Then I got into a hybrid workplace with sane work hour. And still I found myself struggling to spare time for self-improvement and recently, studying. What went wrong? In absolute terms I have more time in hands than I ever do in years. No time wasted in commuting is that good. Having flexible work hour also helps a lot.
There is an old adage I will quote over here,
"There is such things as a lack of time. Many times it is a lack of will."
No matter how many time you have, if you don't allocate it well, you will waste it. To be honest, this applied to most resources as well, such as money.
So, the asterisk on the title. Yes, time is a limited resource. But limited doesn't mean you can't maximize the spare time you have on your hands. Always be grateful for what you have, for sometime, it is not the resources that limit us, but rather it is ourself.
