Seeing a book called "Dungeon Crawler Carl" sitting at the top of Audible's top sci-fi picks was... confusing. Dungeon and sci-fi doesn't go well together, and I'll be honest, the cover looks like cheap knockoff book that tries to be a sci-fi while fails miserable halfway and can't explain half of what's happening on the book. I mean, you can look at it yourself:
What I didn't expect after picking that book, a month later I have just finished with the last book, currently the seventh, with This Inevitable Ruin.
And boy, what a freaking journey. Long story short, I really recommend reading this book, with the jokes, several parallel plots, and character progression, certainly worth a read.
